If you and your spouse are having extreme problems, then just do something simple. Spend time with your spouse and let them know how much you love them and that you really want to make the marriage work.

3. Listing all of the problems you and your spouse are having is another way to save your failing marriage. You and your spouse should list everything that each of you see as a problem. Do this separately. Afterwards, you and your spouse should get together and figure out the solutions to all the problems.

This will get you and your spouse together, working to fix the marriage.
